Trail Blazers

For those horses that come into contact with other horses on a regular basis.  These horses may be at a small to medium boarding facility, make frequent trips to training facilities, or visit public horse grounds
(group trail rides, saddle club events, local shows/rodeos).  Horses in this group are at moderate risk for contracting an infectious disease such as strangles.

Twice Yearly Visits (March and September)

First Trip (March/April)

  • Trip Fee

  • Dental Exam
  • Vaccines:
    • EWT with flu and Rhinopneumonitis(5-way)
    • OR upon request EWT and separate shots of:
      • Intranasal Flu
      • Rhinopneumanitis
  • Coggins Test
  • Fecal Egg Count
  • Paste Dewormer
  • Nutritional counseling and body condition assessment

Second Trip (September/October)

    • Rabies
    • Booster Intranasal Flu
    • Booster Rhinopneumonitis
  • Dental Power Float - includes
    • Sedation
